The first post on TPO went live on June 14th, 2008. That was a long time ago! And ever since then, I’ve been right behind Terrelle, supporting him every step of his career. That will continue as he transitions to professional football with the Oakland Raiders!

It will take a few days for me to put together a design for TPO that I like (I’m picky!), but it’s coming; rest assured! And I’m aware that this officially makes me a “bandwagon” fan. I know die hard sports fans hate that type of fan, but I’m a Terrelle Pryor fan first and foremost and always will be. Only now, I am also an Oakland Raider fan! I will never claim to know “all”, instead I’ll try to learn as much as I possible can from this wonderful new fanbase of yours! So, I just wanted to say “hello” to Raider Nation and thanks for having TP!

Now, it’s back, but they seem to have restored a backup from February. I hope that doesn’t mean all my posts from Feb. through now are lost forever, because that’ll only make me more salty than I already am.

So, I’m going to try and track down some answers. Sorry about everything, TP fans!

So, come Monday, if the URL terrelle-pryor.org no longer works, please use terrelle-pryor.com. I don’t think it works right now, but definitely will Monday, if Yahoo! screws me over; and I have a feeling they will! Just bookmark terrelle-pryor.com and you’ll be set!

I just wanted to let everyone know beforehand so if you try to visit on Monday and the domain doesn’t work, that’s why. I’ll also keep my Twitter followers up-to-speed on the situation.

Moral of the story: Don’t buy domains from Yahoo! Small Business, even if they’re only $1.99/yr.

Go Bucks!

I had the site looking exactly the way I wanted…on Firefox. Then I opened up the evil Internet Explorer to see how it looked over there, and it I was greeted with broken code and non-matching css. Then I’d fix it on IE and Firefox would display the theme poorly. I spent a crapload of time tweaking this theme (which was originally wedding themed) and I’m thisclose to saying “screw you!” to IE users. Seriously. I’m not sure I can make it work for both.

So, what you see now is the half-way point between what I want and what needs to be provided so IE users can view the site. I am a web designer by trade and “settling” is not something I like doing. So don’t be surprised if this theme gets dumped in favor of one that works on both IE and Firefox. It’ll piss me off and suck up more of my free time, but I guess that’s the price one pays for perfection!

What I think I’m going to do is continue tinkering for another day or so. Maybe I’ll fix the inconsistencies. Or maybe I’ll just become “ok” with the site the way it is. Maybe I’ll throw my computer out the window and become a Michigan fan. Nah, just kidding. Regardless, I’ll let everyone know what I do in the next day or so.

P.S. Seriously, though. Do yourself a favor and get Firefox.

Here are some random things that don’t fit anywhere else, so I’ll just stick them in this post.

1.) People have been looking for that cheap shot on TP after his INT against Michigan. It wasn’t clearly shown in the ABC broadcast (go fig), but it was shown in its entirety during the Buckeye Football Fever post show. I incorrectly called out Morgan Trent on that hit. And although, he was standing around flapping his gums afterwards, it wasn’t him. It was his teammate, and fellow punk, Jonas Mouton. Check it out below.

Yes, Terrelle did flop a little, but it was still an extremely late and unnecessary hit. They can savor that hit, I guess. At the end of the day, we beat the snot out of them and sent them back to Ann Arbor with one of the worst losses in the history of The Game.

2.) TPO is now on Twitter. People have been talking about Twittering for almost a year now, and I thought it was time to jump on that bandwagon and see what the fuss was about.

It’s basically a mix between a mini-blog, Facebook Status updates, and an RSS feed. I know it sounds confusing, but it’s really not. With your own Twitter account, you can “follow” my account for TPO and get updated when I post a blog. Those updates can go to your email or even to your phone via text. Also, if I have a quick bit of news to report, or just wish to share an article, I can do so there without blogging here. Just another way to stay up-to-date with the latest happenings. Aint technology grand?!

And really, Twitter is a big deal. Facebook wants to buy it. You know Facebook would not get involved if it weren’t a worldwide sensation! So check it out!

I recorded it with my PVR (DVR for computer) and forgot about it until I was just now cleaning out some of my hard drive.

So, I will start to go through the program, cut out the commercials, and post it up here in case you missed it.

I can’t promise when this is going to happen because I’m fixin’ to go out of town for 10 days. I may post 1 part before I go, then torture you and post the rest of the parts when I get back. I’m evil like that. You’ll just have to wait and see!

Still got a little bit of work to do with the sidebar because this theme isn’t widget-friendly, but I’ll get it together soon. Trust.

Suddenly I’m not so crazy about the header. Portions of it I still love, but not the work in total.

But no worries. I have ideas and will tinker later tonight.
