Buckeyes Buckle Down for ‘Hell Week’

Ohio State is beginning their second week of fall camp tomorrow. It’s also the first day of two-a-days.

The 2009 version of the Buckeyes are a lot younger than we’ve seen in a while. As a result there’s quite a bit of competition at key positions. The coaching staff realizes the intense situation and is effectively “locking down” the entire operation. There will be no communication with the outside world this coming week; only football!

I believe punter Jon Thoma said it best with his latest tweet:

No phone tv ipod or internet for a week. Send your messenger pigeons to room 201 of the university plaza hotel. Talk to you in a week!

So if you are following any of the Buckeyes on Twitter or are Facebook friends with them, don’t expect to hear anything this week. They’re doin’ work!
