“Bowling with Buckeyes” Set For Tonight

Senior Buckeye OL Jimmy Cordle reached out to Fairfield MRDD to create “Bowling with Buckeyes”, a fundraising event to benefit the Special Olympics. Hosted at Lancaster’s (OH) Tiki Lanes from 7 to 11PM the event is drawing the participation of over 40 members of the Ohio State Football team. It works as follows:

The fundraiser will pair four team members with an Ohio State football player and a Special Olympian. Cordle’s goal is to get each of Tiki’s 42 lanes sponsored and raise $20,000 for Fairfield MRDD.

Here’s a little more:

The event, which will feature a silent auction of autographed Ohio State memorabilia and game tickets, is open to the public. The admission fee for adults is $5. Children accompanied by an adult will be admitted free of charge.

If you’ve got nothing to do tonight (Friday), and are in the greater Central Ohio area, why not head on over to Lancaster to support a good cause? I’m sure a good time will be had by all!

Read an article from the Lancaster Eagle Gazette here and visit the Tiki Lanes website for driving directions. (MAP)

Just spreading the good word!
