Head’s Up: Terrelle-Pryor.org Expiring!
This has nothing to do with TP, just this domain. This site may be forced to switch domains in the coming days. I registered Terrelle-Pryor.org at Yahoo! last year and it is expiring in a few weeks. However, Yahoo!’s renewal features a ridiculously high fee of $34.95 that they charge weeks before the domain expires. And they only tell you days before the charge date, so it’s practically too late to move to a new registrar. I’m trying, but I’m not sure the switch will go through before I cancel the plan. I refuse to pay $35 for any domain; especially when most can be purchased for less than $10.
So, come Monday, if the URL terrelle-pryor.org no longer works, please use terrelle-pryor.com. I don’t think it works right now, but definitely will Monday, if Yahoo! screws me over; and I have a feeling they will! Just bookmark terrelle-pryor.com and you’ll be set!
I just wanted to let everyone know beforehand so if you try to visit on Monday and the domain doesn’t work, that’s why. I’ll also keep my Twitter followers up-to-speed on the situation.
Moral of the story: Don’t buy domains from Yahoo! Small Business, even if they’re only $1.99/yr.
