Is TP2 Battling Arm Fatigue?

Media reports out of practice today have stated that Terrelle’s nursing (icing) a sore arm. Is it an injury? Is he getting used to a new release? Overuse since he’s never gone through Spring Ball before? There are just 3 QBs taking the reps. Who knows. I’m sure it’s not serious, though. If it were serious, the staff would completely shut him down a la Beanie last Spring. Remember that?

Read for yourself and then come to your own conclusions.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer offers the following:

The rising sophomore starter sat out some final drills this afternoon with what appeared to be ice wrapped just above his right elbow, on his triceps. Pryor didn’t appear to be in any major pain but was clearly experiencing some discomfort, sort of holding the area or moving his arm as he watched Joe Bauserman work with the first-team offense in a final short scrimmage.

The Columbus Dispatch gives their take as well:

Today at the kick scrimmage, the teams scrimmaged 11-on-11 for 20 minutes or so. Pryor participated in part of it, but then went to the sideline, where he had a bag of ice plastic-wrapped to his elbow and did not go back in. He did not seem to be in any severe discomfort, and it may be relatively minor — no official word is expected — but anything that limits Pryor’s practice time this spring hampers his development at a crucial time for him.

Both appear to be on the same page. You open practices up to the media and this is what you get!
