2009 Spring Game Set for April 25
The 'Shoe...before the 3 hour rain started
The 2009 Ohio State football team will play their annual Spring Game on April 25 at 1 PM. Once again, the game will follow a men’s Lacrosse game against Notre Dame.
I’m hoping the rain stays away this year. It pissed me off because the skies were clear allllll morning, and then it’s like the Heavens opened at the kickoff of the football game. And then it rained non-stop for the entire game. I swear that it stopped raining while I was in my car, driving home! I was not pleased!
However, despite the weather, OSU fans have shown that they will come out and support the team no matter what. Over 76K shrugged off the less than stellar conditions (and a $5 price tag) in order to get a glimpse at the early 2008 version of the Buckeyes. It was the 3rd consecutive year fans broke the Spring Game record, so we’re almost certain to top the mark again. Believe that. And I hope we take down Alabama’s 2007 Spring Game record of 92K plus in the process. I know we can do it!
