TP Was Playing Hurt Monday

Apparently Terrelle played through a shoulder injury during Monday’s Fiesta Bowl. Several reporters manned up enough to ask him, postgame, if he was a little dinged up. His response varied.

However, a new piece of info making the rounds, has TP admitting his right shoulder was hurting because he had “rolled” his arm. Go back and rewatch the game, focusing on Terrelle’s passing opportunities. You’ll see. Add that to his lingering thumb injury from the Wisky game and explains a lot, doesn’t it?

Now we all know that Terrelle is not one for excuses. He took a lot of the blame for the loss. But after hearing reports from bowl practice about his progress as a passer, then watching the game, I knew something wasn’t stirring the Kool-Aid, ya know? I mean, Tress sent Boeckman in every time the ball needed to be thrown more than 10 yards. We know TP can make those throws. We’ve seen him do it all season!

But it’s nice to know what was going on, even if doesn’t change anything. Rest up, TP; you’ve earned it!
