Stuff (Post-Fiesta Bowl Edition)
Here it is; the day after another post-season loss, and the sun came up today! Amazing how that works!
Anyway, I got some more stuff for y’all. I briefly mentioned how Terrelle took the loss hard. Buckeye Grove has the video of his postgame interviews. Watch below:
However, on the flipside of his disappointment, the national media came away incredibly impressed with what they saw last night. ESPN analyst Mark Schlabach gives his extremely early predictions on the 2009 season.
9. Terrelle Pryor will be a Heisman Trophy candidate
Pryor will be much better as a sophomore, especially if tailback Chris “Beanie” Wells returns for the 2009 season. Even if Wells enters the NFL draft, Pryor, currently a true freshman, is capable of carrying the Buckeyes to another Big Ten championship. Pryor will lead the Buckeyes to a victory over USC on Sept. 12, thrusting the sophomore quarterback near the top of the list of Heisman Trophy contenders.
Hot damn! I do like the sound of that. However, he isn’t the first to suggest TP2 will be in the Heisman discussion next season.
Also, there are some rumblings about TP playing hurt last night. However, when asked he has denied it. I can’t say either way, but judging from how his passing looked, it wouldn’t surprise me if he was a little dinged up.
