TP Sighting on Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood

Over the summer, Terrelle took a trip out west. No, he wasn’t visiting Oregon. He was in Santa Barbara, California to take part in Steve Clarkson’s annual “Super 7″ Quarterback Retreat. This camp is routinely attended by the country’s top prep and collegiate QBs. Being that TP was rated one of, if not the top, quarterback prospect in the country, it’s no surprise that he got an invite.

TP mentioned meeting Snoop Dogg to Coach Tress while at the camp. You can read a little bit about it in his Details Magazine feature from the October 2008 issue. Why was Snoop there? His son, Corde, was about to enroll at Long Beach Poly High to play QB for their football team. Snoop wanted to give his son all the advantages that the top players in the country receive and instill a foundation of hard work in him.

Corde’s experience during this year’s camp was chronicled for the Season 2 premiere of Snoop’s E! Reality TV Show Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood”.

The TP2 sighting came towards the end of the episode when the coaches staged a sort of “intervention” with Corde. They invited some of the camp attendees, including Terrelle, to talk to him about the importance of football and giving it his all. While TP was not one of the players who shared their story or advice during the scene, I did spot him; mostly by his tattoos. Is that bad? Whatever. I saw the ‘T’ and the ‘P’ on the backs of his arms and I already knew he was at that camp, so putting 2 and 2 together wasn’t that hard.
