Stuff (Post-Michigan Edition)
It bears repeating (even though I didn’t mention it yesterday): Terrelle Pryor is the first Freshman to win The Game. He’s been rewriting the history books all season. Why should he stop now? There’s more work to do, anyway.
Did you notice what he had written on his eye black yesterday? If not, let me fill you in. It was a bible verse. Phil 4:13 to be exact. Goes a little something like this:
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
But that couldn’t be! TP’s an arrogant thug! No way could he be spiritual!! [end sarcasm] For all the haters, he also said the following in his postgame presser:
“You have to appreciate a lot of things and appreciate what God does for you.”
Anyway, on to the polls. No changes there as there weren’t any earth shattering upsets. I mean, no one expected Texas Tech to get worked the way they did, but they weren’t going to drop out of the Top 10. Buckeye fans need to become Oregon Duck fans this week. That’s pretty much the only way we get an at-large BCS bid. We almost got some help from Arizona, but Bob Stoops messed that one up with his failure to properly run out the clock with a lead. Thanks for nothing!
So unless the Ducks get it done, we’re probably looking at the Capitol One Bowl. The good part of that situation is that we would have the opportunity to get the SEC monkey off our backs. Last year we thought we were headed to Pasadena, then everyone and their mama lost those last couple of weeks and we found ourselves in the National Championship Game. So, hope isn’t all lost. Crazy things happen!
Did y’all see that cheap shot Morgan Trent laid on TP2 after his interception? It was after the play was dead and extreeeeeemely late. Dirty. But I can’t be too hard on him. That’s probably the best/most-gratifying hit of his sad, sad career.

Don’t forget the Big Ten All-Conference Show tomorrow. TP should be considered a lock for “Freshman of the Year”. They will be interviewing some of the honored players throughout the show which airs at 7:30 PM (ET) on the Big Ten Network.

Pick yours up at The Buckeye Corner. No options for us female fans. It’s as if they’re saying we don’t buy Buckeye merch. WE DO! So, I guess my recommediation would be the youth shirts?
I added a new page to the site as well. It’s a TP Trivia quiz, where you can test your knowledge on all things TP2. I gotta admit it’s pretty easy, though. Then again, I do run a website, so I probably know more than the average fan. So, why not check it out and see how you do!
